Corporate Responsibility

Community Services Role :

•TE Data launched its first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in mid 2008 in partnership with Telecom Egypt.
•The project was branded Anwaar™ and it adopted the literacy issue with a special focus in the Upper Egypt region.
 
NGO’s Endeavor Features through Anwaar:
•The endeavor includes classes targeting women and they run a number of activities from which the students become familiarized with the World around them that goes beyond the boundaries of their village, they get involved in trips and visits inside and outside the governorate.  They are taught by a method called active learning which deploys conversation and interaction, and in some instances they use computers.
•A new model was created to make Anwaar an integrated program.  The model includes the external efforts with the NGO’s and also an internal program for the employees to ingrain it within the company culture.  The internal efforts are in the form of one full day tailored session with a specialist to drive the notion of how we can make a difference.
